Gay marriage is much more popular in the U.S., whereas gays are much less seen in other countries. I think gay marriage is really stupid because I do not like when people can not accept who they are. I mean, if you are a guy, why would you want to be a girl? I think that it is SO wrong. Plus, gay people can not have children. So that means that they are not husband and wife. So marrying those two people off just does not make sense to me.

GAY Marriage is called a civil unions. Not marriage in the law books. Why should a lover be deinied the holdings of the person they feel is their soul mate and the family whom might have dis-avowed them get the death insurance because the "soul mate" was the same gendar???? This is not ONLY AmERICAN issue. Elton John married his lover in Eurpoe and Rosie O'donell was america's best friend until she came out the "closet" to support gay/lesbian parents and their rights. For the record only about 2% of all gay people in the worl had a bi-gay parent..... That means all or to be acturate 98% of all homosexual people came from heterosexual parents.......... (please excuse my spelling and typos)
In Thailand a very popular surgery" sex reassisgnment" T-boiz or trangendar mtf is common in Thailand and in my text books.

There isn't much to think about except for 2 things.
1)Marriage is religious, and therefor needs to remain separated from laws as in the constitution.
2)Love is love. Why should it matter what package it comes in?

I have nothing against gays, I have nothing against Civil Unions. But, a Marriage is a spiritual act, an act first done in the church. An act done before God. When you get right down to the nitty gritty a marriage has always been a BRIDE & GROOM, HUSBAND & WIFE, MAN & WOMAN. Gay marriages AREN'T. In marriage the sexual relationshi is for the bonding and the closeness of the HUSBAND & WIFE and to create offspring, procreate, have babies, get pregnant. In gay marriage you can't have that. The way marriages have always been>>>>>>
GROOM & BRIDE
HUSBAND & WIFE
MAN & WOMAN,
this is the way marriages are suppose to be, then DAD & MOM. Can't be in a gay marriage. It's that simple, it don't work out.

Ok here's the thing, I think gay people have real issues, because if God had wanted for the same sex to like each other, then we'd be pretty screwed because you can't have children, or grandchildren, and obviously that's not how he wanted it to be, so he put Adam and Eve on this earth!!! Get it sickos? So it's pretty stupid and disturbing. I mean, two men in tuxedos going down the isle and kissing each other? Ok, that's just not right... so I'd say it's pretty disgusting and strange, but, hey, I'm just one person.

I'm straight, and I approve gay marriage. Some ppl hide behind their bibles and shout "abomination", but it's not gonna stop two ppl from being in love and having a relationship. My best friend is gay, and he should have equal rights just like straight ppl.
Years ago blacks didn't have equal rights, and now gays don't have equal rights. It's unfair, but hopefully in my lifetime there will be an end to sexism, racism, and bigotry.

When people at work asked me this, I said that I don't believe in heterosexual marriage. (I had a bad one.) They need to have the rights to health insurance, etc. I also know of gay couples raising children who are doing a much better job than some of the others I know. What happens if they get divorced? There are still things they need to work out.

depends on who you ask....to some people it is against their philosophy or religion, they might not be homophobic...just that it's against what they think is natural or right and how they define marriage. I define it between a man and a woman and to me it is considered a Sacriment but if you ask someone with different philosophies on life they'll tell you something else or maybe something similar.

I am 100% in support of gay marriage. and i'm tired of all these people who say they have nothing against gay people but they don't think they should be allowed to get married. well, you're liars, because you DO have something against gay people if you don't think they should have the right to get married. be against gay marriage if you want, we're all entitled to our opinions, but stop prefacing what you say by saying you have nothing against gay people, because you do...
cheers,
Shauna!
