It is normal to see that outline sometimes, although it's not the most ideal. I would suggest trying Spanx underware. They are almost like control top biker shorts, but meant to do exactly what we are talking about. I work in higher end retail and people wear these all the time!

If you can see the pocket, it usually means they are too tight. So no, it's not normal.
You should wear nude colored underwear and hose under them. White clothing will show every other color undergarments, including white.
I assume that since it's a suit, it came with a jacket that isn't long enough to cover the pockets.
First, I would go back to the store with the suit, and try on the next size up. If the pockets weren't visible, I would exchange the smaller size, and get the waist tailored if needed for a better fit.
If the pockets were still visible, then take your original suit back home. Then see if you can pair the suit with a longer shirt that will help hide the back pockets. Leave the jacket open for a modern look, and go out in style.
If you can't wear the suit with a shirt, then you're stuck. Scarves or other accessories that might hide the pockets don't usually look right with a suit.

You can get some white pant liners. They can be ordered on line or most lingerie departments in big stores carry them
Also, you can get a thick opaque pair of panty hose - L'egg have some good tights in off white.

you should try microfiber low rise breifs, a micro fiber thong or micro fiber brazillien cut boy shorts. It helps, b/c there is no outline. Also good to wear w/ reaaaaaaaly tight pants.
