I do too...just not this year. First things first though, let's break into the top 4 and establish ourselves there. Maybe Chelsea and Man United will drop some points, and if we go on a tear like we did last year, we could make up some points. And oh, Man United, Chelsea, and Arsenal all still have to come to Anfield this year - we've got to make those games count and take maximum points.
It's a longshot, but I've not given up hope.

I am a strong supporter of Liverpool hence I would be inclined to say that Liverpool will win.
However, the facts remain that we have continued loosing some of the games where points would be considered guaranteed. Loosing 3 - 2 against Galatasaray is not acceptable.
Man Utd is at 41 points. Liverpool is at 25 points and they will need to win five games and draw one to be at the same leve with Man Utd. This will mean Man Utd should loose all the next six games. This scenario seems not practical because Man Utd will definitely win or draw some of the games.
If Rafael Benitez continue to sideline key players like Steven Gerald then the hopes of rising the ladder are very slim. The option of featuring young players is good but this must be done when you have a guaranteed win.

They can't, ever since Alonso left they've gone crap. Maybe if someone would sack that fool Benetiz then they might have a good chance of winning the league. Btw I hope they lose against lyon tonight and get relegated from the Champions League. Maybe they might win next season but I doubt they'll win anything the way there going.

Do you just want a answer that agrees with you or do you want a intelligent analysis of Liverpool chances in relation to Chelsea Manchester United and Arsenal.
If you want the latter, then Liverpool can win the Title but not this season. Next season Liverpool will be owned by an investment arm of Dubai Holding, which is owned by Dubai Crown Prince and United Arab Emirates Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Mohammed, whose family is internationally renowned for its running of the Godolphin horse racing stables, is the world's fifth richest man, with an estimated personal wealth of £8 billion.

Liverpool are currently 16 points behind man utd. Man utd and chelsea have the best defences in the prem at the mo and utd are scoring goals for fun. Chelsea, even when not playing well, are grinding out results. Liverpool are struggling to score away from home and are suffering for it. There's always next season. At the moment it's a two horse race.
