There are lots of reasons why it may skip. I personally am lucky if I get mine 4 times a year, and when I do, it only lasts a day. I myself ended up spending the money on tests to find out
a) that I have a hormonal imbalance;
b) that I have an low amount of dead cells in my uterus which cause the bleeding.
Any type of travel or change in environment can cause a delay.
Visit a chemist, or a free clinic, and be checked just to put your mind at ease.

Well if your not pregnant and not stress, chances are your body is just having an off month. It takes a few years before a womans body adjusts to her changes. Some months will come on time, some months will be way off. Or maybe you started a new diet or exercise program. Did you do something different this month that could of delayed your period? Think about it.

Periods sometimes would be irregular due to a number of reasons - maybe reasons that you are not aware of.
Emotional distress, sickness, stress, constant vigorous exercise, unbalanced diet and malnutrition are some of the reasons.

it is possible to miss periods from time to time. use one of the pregnancy tests from the drug store. you could speak to one of the pharmacists there and they can help you. you might even ask the pharmacist if there are places in your town that will help pregnant women who cannot pay the usual amount. you might check out Planned Parenthood and places like that.

Have you had unprotected sex or even protected sex?
A pregnancy test is about $20 I think.....I'm not sure.
Travel across time zones can delay your period or make you miss one. Have you been travelling anywhere? Flew across country for Thanksgiving?

sure.
It could be stress, hypothyroidism, pregnancy, Polycystic ovary syndrome,
Go to your local health department....they usually charge you based on your income....close to nothing if you are poor. They have great docs and midwives there who do as well as regular obgyns.
