Ford in LA / New York are good ones to deal with depending on your size and body type. I would recommend going on http://www.elegantplus.com where there's a WHOLE directory of reputable plus size agencies and photographers.

I would definately come up with a portfolio (which you'll find samples on the Model Search directory).
