No, I wouldn't because he knew what a crazy wife she was and because of that craziness, it made the show what it was....She WAS the show and if he were to "pow her in the kisser" as you say, it would have taken the show in another direction...she was his total opposite, he was boring, but knew that Lucy was his true love no matter what she did....besides that, all her crazy Magilicudy family members she had would have kicked his @ss....

GiggleBox27: They are combineing things. Ricky would say " One of these days Lucy, one of these days,..." he wouldn't finish what he was saying just make gestures and give actions like he wanted to complete that with slapping (some times, not all of the time). And Yes, that is from the Honeymooners,.. they were probably assumeing you could pick that up (the writers/Ricky & Lucy).

ok well anyways the show was made for like the 50's - 60's
and there wasnt really any violence back then so the producer people wouldnt have ever made ricky hit lucy
