Anyone know how to make the Chewbacca sound?

It was kind of like a gargle and a growl. The actor usually held his head up some and tilted back like you do when you gargle mouthwash.
I found a great site for wookie sounds. The (Roar.wav) is exactly what I described but there are others check it out ;)

Not personally. My friend's dog sounds like Chewie when he yawns.
You know, I think I read somewhere that it sort of like gargling but from the back of your throat....I can't seem to remember though.

awqvhuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaawwww... ababababa vip vip vip vip suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeee... Ive never hung out with chewy, so this is only an uneducated guess! If chewy starts acting up, just throw him a hairbrush and say....."Oh........Shut up and brush your face" ! : )

I always thought it sounded like the supposed "bigfoot" howls ( a person gargling).
