Hello,

Well, I am not sure if I would have a choice.

Big Brother is on the rise and we are in its crosshairs.

Ever heard of a One World Government or New World Order?

Have you ever read George Orwell's "1984"?

Here is the link to the book online.

Hope this helps you...................... : - O

It's not like you and I will consciously decide to move if it happens. I don't think that will influence my decision to live in that city. Wherever I go now, I am being watched anyway - in the shops, office buildings, even in lifts (elevator). This is probably the same where you are as well.
Red light cameras don't "watch" me. They only take the photos of cars and only when they run the red light or speeding.

I don't know how does having red light cameras at each intersection inconvenient you. But have you ever seen a serious car accident at an intersection? I don't mean see a scene of an accident but actually witness it happened? I have witness several bad accident AS IT OCCURRED and I for one would prefer the cameras even if they only serve to deter more accidents from happening.

I do live in a city with them and I gotta tell you, they have REALLY improved intersection bottle-necks. You know how during high traffic hours people will hang in the middle of the dang intersection keeping you from being able to move? Then finally they get out of the way just as your green light turns to yellow? Well, thanks to the cameras that doesn't happen any more. Yes I know they're probably only there to increase revenue, but the fact that some jerk isn't in my way when I'm trying to go any more makes them OK by me!

I do live in one of those cities, but its not at every single stop light.I love em, esp since i was injured in a accident by a lady who thought that since no one seemed to be around, she could run a red light and nobody would find out. she did run a red light and slammed into me.Now people are more aware and tend not to run the lights because they know they will get a hefty fine if the do.

Sure...I believe that the government should have the power to watch me do anything. I know that as long as I am not doing anything wrong that I have nothing to worry about.

They can put cameras where they would lilke...they can listen to any of my converstations...they can read my email and watch my every move....

I don't do anything worng so I have no use for all of these silly civil liberties...who needs all that privacy anyways...right?

And as long as they are using that information to get the "bad guys" it's ok...because I know that my government wouldn't use that information against anyone in our country...they only use it for the bad guys....

As long as Daddy governement is protecting me...they can do whatever they want....

Thanks Dad!!!

PLEASE NOTE::

This is SARCASM...however it is really the way our country feels....notice the responses that you have gotten....it's so sad!

Also....does anyone stop to think that in the future...the government can use those cameras against the people....but there I go...being paranoid again.

I live in Denver and there already are cameras at every intersection. And every where else I go too.

Most of the major intersections where I live already have them.

well yes, if that would benefit traffic implementation and pedestrian safety in general and if the city is credible enough to do just that. I probably won't if there's a huge chance that the information will be used against my right to privacy.

I doubt we will have any choice about any of this continually encroaching surveillance. And intersections are the least of my concerns.
