Clearing all of your history is too obvious if you're trying to hid something. Get it to come up, and highlight it using your keyboard, but don't click on it. Then press shift and del. (For most browsers some is ctrl del or just del) Best way to cover your tracks.

In IE go to Tools> Internet options> General Tab and under Browsing history click the Delete button. Then OK to close Options window.

Select the tools menu at top right of the screen in XP and select Internet options at the bottom of this menu.

On the General tab select Browsing History delete
In this section select Delete History

Go to Tool in the top Menu bar, then Internet Options, and then choose to delete/erase History,and it will delete those addresses you talked about.

If you're using Internet Explorer, go into Tools-Internet Options-Delete History

you have to do the following steps...
1.go to tools and click the clear history button.
2.select the "content" tab and click on "autocomplete"
3.uncheck all the chech boxes and clear all the data by clicking the two buttons available there.
4.press ok
now everything is cleared!!!!!

and then where it says "browsing history"
click on delete
