Not sure if I wanted to smack them in the face or not, but sometimes Aunt Bea would grate on my nerves and Goober for being a dimwit, but other than that I loved the show! Barney Fife rules!

I can't stand Gomer. He was the biggest idiot. Goober was right behind him. Aunt Bea could get on your nerves too. If you think about it the only sane ones were Andy, Mrs. Crump, and Thelma Lou and Opie was ok.

I'd have to say Barney...he drove me nuts with his ranting and stupid comments.....plus if it did happen, he would have been able to get some plastic surgery on that fishface of his.. Otis would have been a good candidate as well, but he was always so drunk, he wouldn't have felt it....
