i want to try out for basktball tryouts tomorrow but i cant. my mom doesn't want me to "get behind" when i join the team...i m a good player. i really want to go cause im athletic, im really into sports but my mom doesn't want me to cause she also wants me to get an a in math. math isn't that easy. i have a b + but she wants an a and doesn't wANT ME TO BE APART OF THE SPORTS PROGRAM...PLZZZ HELP.....I NEED TO GET THE PERMISSION SLIP SIGNED BY TONIGHT!

If you want to be committed to the team you have to be committed to your studies also. Tell her and you have to do this, that you will work on bringing your grade up and if you drop below your current grade in math, you will quit the team. Show her you are willing to study extra hard to be able to play ball. Good luck and show her she can trust you. Also ask her to have faith in you.

ya, she pretty much nailed it... show your mom that you are dedicated to play, and that if you don't bring the grade up, or you start falling behind, then you can drop out... but try and have her give you a chance
