I assume you mean Nate Grey as in "X-man" and not Nathan Summers aka "Cable".

He survived Onslaught and was, at one point captured by Apocalypse for use as one of the "12". NAte escaped when Cyclops merged with Apocalypse instead of him. But found that his own vast psionic powers were burning out his body at an excellerated rate.

Eventually, Nate realized the full extent of his powers and became a modern-day mutant shaman. To save humanity from destruction by an alien Harvester, Nate sacrificed himself to merge his energies with the alien’s and, through the conduit it had forged with the world, into every being on the planet, thus rendering the world’s energy useless to the Harvester’s race.

So as of now, Nate Grey is Dead. Hope that helps!

It's the Marvel Universe,.. he keeps going and going and going. I don't know where Onslaught takes place at,.. but does/did he have an adopted Son/Grandson in it? If not then he will come back and keep going and going because he will have a Adopted Son or whatever at some point. Then even when he finally dies his real self will be a baby in the future and grow up (like 2000 years into the future or something like that) and that one should be around a long time because his Sister can pretty much make him immortal if she wanted to.

Oh wait,.. which Nate are you talking about? XD I suck, I forgot about some more of them.
