We both think she looks good with the red shoes. In my opinion it is bold yet fashionable. Is it a complete no go or is it too bold for a winter wedding this Saturday Dec 9?

She could, but I would go with a strappy sandle instead.

it depends, if the shoes and the dress are the same style and she's not trying to mix a glamorous grammy worthy dress with retro a-la-Grease-musical style red shoes then it should be okay...she should also consider the length of the dress, if it's way too below the knee it will look funny and the color clash will be very obvious, also consider the weight of the shoes and i mean this literally because if the shoes are large and clunky they will detract from the dress and stand out very loudly on their own which she probably doesn't want..i, personally don't think it will work either if the pumps have a pointy front as this will also stand out too much, but if they're feminine overall with a soft round front then they'll serve to accent the dress and result in a very attractive and unique combination :)

oh, and she shouldn't forget to use red somewhere else in her outfit, a purse maybe, deep red lipstick (not fire engine red, more of a blood red), or earrings...something subtle to tie it all together, she should definitely not go crazy with the red, just one item to accesorize the shoes is enough

for a winter wedding i think the red pumps are a little to bold. weddings are romantic and classy so she sould go with a classy shoe like a blat flat or heel...something thats not overdramatic. remember, the attention is suppose to be on the bride and groom so its not the best idea to make a statement with clothing at a wedding. but i'd say wear the pumps if it wasnt to a wedding, depending on what the dress looks like.

Red is a tad too bold. Go for something more understated. A pair of darker grey or silver strappy sandals would work well. Red? Not for a wedding, and not with silver....Sorry, I know this is probably not the answer you were looking for.

If the red has a yellow hue to it, it will not go with a dress in a cool tone. If the red has a blue hue to it, the silver will co-ordinate with the shoes.
BUT because silver is a very flashy colour, a more understated colour like black would be more classic looking.

if the red isn't making too bold a statement. remember, weddings are for oohing and ahhing at the beauty of the bride, and if red shoes would take the attention away from the bride, then i suggest leaving them at home. otherwise, i'd say wear them.

A black and white dress would look best. Perhaps a black and white polka dot dress, maybe strapless if you can find one. You could also tie in the shoes by adding a red chunky beaded necklace or a red patent leather belt.

As long as her jewelry is silver, those shoes would look stunning! Red shoes can never be wrong...

And after the wedding, she can click her heels together and go back home to Kansas! wow, takes my breath away lol

Yeah it is too bold. The best would be silver shoes. Don't wear white.

I'm a 50 year old Grandma. Would look good, if the dress does not look white. No one but the bride can wear a white dress!

No stop her, first thing as a fashion and shopping queen you will never put those two together they will crash. If she want to turn heads and have you chasing her tell her to wear black pumps with thigh highs (fishnet if possible)
