no, no it wasn't real.
the sailors in middle age actually hunted a kind of dolphin species called narwhal who lives in north pole. male narwhal have tusks looks like unicorn tusk grow from their head. It's their tusk that's sold as unicorn horn and make the legend.
if u corious about what narwhal looks like try to find their images.
this animals still life todays even they're near extinction

i beleave that unicorns are real just because they are not here on this plantet does not mean they are not out there some were else out in the universe they were once here but they felt there time and what they could do for this planet was finish so they went back home blessed be
