To download videos from YouTube and any other site :
Get Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
And then install the Download Helper extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3006/ or this one Video Downloader https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390
It works great for me.
Since the videos are in the .flv format you need to get a flv player. You can get a very good one (and completely free ) here http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10505954.html?tag=tab_pub
If you want to convert them into another format ( mobile phone, iPods,psp,wmv, mp4...and anything else) use this awesome free program called Super http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
Also you can use this site http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php and copy/paste the url's from the page with the video there but personally I'd recommend using Firefox

Go to http://www.limewire.com it's a P2P networking program, download what you need with this program, then drag it to iTunes. When it gets into iTunes it gets into your iPod.
I know about the virus thing, just be careful of the size and get the most commonly downloaded one. Also, let your security systems speak up!

here it is plain and simple:
want free music -> most people have friends -> most friends have music-> most friends are nice enough to let you borrow music.
dont use limewire people have put viruses into downloads and can ruin a computer.

Go under dogpile.com and make a audio search. When you find your song that you can download (some you can only listen to on line) download it. Import it into iTunes (just drag it to iTunes) and then on iTunes just do whatever you normally do to get it on your iPod.
