myspace will not give you a virus.. if a virus is on myspace it is exclusive on there it will affect myspace only but your personal computer..
how ever if you have the new IE7 they have yet to work out all the bugs in the new one keep updating them.. how ever in the mean time with what you are saying you might want to do a full system scan on your puter.. you might have some spyware on your puter.. that can come from even store bough games or something simple as a screen saver that you downloaded to your puter...
I got spyware on my puter once from a child's store bought Dora the explorer game...

I've never had issues with myspace.... I don't think they do viruses... My only suggestion is to run your virus scanner (if you don't have one do a search for Avast...it's free, easy to use) as well as any other programs you have: spyware/malware scanners (recommendation: spyware terminator as well as ad aware personal), CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) and defrag your computer.

Run everythign you can and see if there's soemthign on there that's causing issues before you go blaming websites... if anybody looks at pornography, they're notorius for virus/issues. Sometimes you can get a virus on email and not know it (I use AVAST and it pops up and tells you if there's somethign there before you do anything... it works and it's a small program to download and updates frequently)...also check into your firewall and make sure it's working good. (if you don't have one I'll recommend Comondo)

All the products I've mentioned you can find at one of two websites: www.filehippo.com or www.download.com

I'm not the best with computers but my husband has played with MANY programs and has decided these are the best and has shown me how to use them... before, he would run all the cleanup stuff but now I do it on mine and he does it on his. Run all these cleanup processes (defrag. & CCleaner) daily to keep your computer running the best it can... the other stuff, run once a week or if you come across a problem, run the full system scan, not just the quick one.

Good luck, I hope this helps your problem.

Well, i know tht microsoft internet explorer and outlook have given me a hijacker a page tht pops up called "about blank" and sooner or later it takes control and all kinds of problems really start happening. But as far as myspace sending a virus, no but anyone could have put one in but watch out for phishing...getting into ur acct.

Myspace.com, as a whole does not give you any viruses. However, its the little add-ons and programs made by other people that pose the threat. be careful what you download.

I do know there was an exploit on MySpace.com that could infect your computer. Check the link below.

very final time I checked, you would be able to desire to no longer get right of entry to Yahoo! Mail by using a mail application (employing POP/SMTP) and not employing a Yahoo! Subscription account, so that would desire to be the difficulty. have you ever used Yahoo! Mail by employing means of a mail software formerly?

You can get virus, worms, adware, spyware, and malware just about anywhere. You need to get some protection on your computer before you get online.
