I don't know why I must go over this question again and again. If there was ever a brain in your head you'd instantly say without a doubt, that South Park is SOOOO much better. I used to watch Family Guy and then I saw just one episode of South Park and thought to myself, "I can't believe I've been missing this extreme creativity, hilariousness, and all-out social satire my whole life". South Park is a lot more intense, but it actually has meaning, while Family Guy is totally random occurrences that make absolutely no sense...although I do have to admit that the one where Peter beats up the giant chicken was a funny one. But I strongly encourage you to check out South Park.

Family Guy without a question. The sense of humor on that show is above and beyond southpark. The way they go off onto a subject for a brief moment and return to the show is sheer genious!!!

Family Guy beats Southpark anyday. Southpark is nothing but crudeness and gross out jokes which one doesn't have to think about - everyone gets their blatantly-offensive-on-purpose jokes. Family Guy is funny because of its random movie scene and song parodies, movie and TV references, and intelligent humor. I think that it is geared more toward people who are old enough to get these references, and that is why the younger crowd doesn't like it - they don't "get" it.

I dont personally LOVE either show but the better of the two probably is Family Guy.
Southpark is becoming old and a bit silly for me but Family guy completely kills their jokes and take it too far to the point where its not even funny and i want to strangle whoever is making the joke.
I say both of them are average.

southpark is funny because they have more episodes and they are more recent and they dont always come up with fart jokes all the time... they still come up with fart jokes and such but southpark is funny because you know that there are people like that out in the real world

I have to say....Family Guy. Though the plot lines aren't as well thought out as South Park, the characters are way more interesting.
Peter: Brian! Brian! There's a message in my Alphabets! It's says, "OOooooooo.."
Brian: Peter, those are cheerios....
