Well that depends on if you have a multitrack recording card or not for your pc. I recommend getting something from m audio. they are inexpensive and work ok. other than that if you have a direct out on your guitar amp you can just feed that to the line in on your soundcard. Vocals are a little sticky though as I have had bad results going from a regular mic like a shure sm57 or sm58 and just adapting it down to go into your mic input. however if you get a cheapo mixer and then take it down that way you can get something that is cyperable out of it. Other than that just push record on the track you want to record on in cakewalk. If you find cakewalk cumbersome though try sony acid, it is much more user friendly and pretty self explanitory.
