Invest in a current copy of "The Writers Market" This book is available through companies like Chapters. It lists every publisher you can think of and clearly defines who they cater to and every other detail you can think of for getting a book published. For a $30 investment - it's well worth the expense.

I have never heard of that but good children's books that have sold probably a million copies are Eric Carle books. They are fun like The Hungry Hungry Catepillar and David No and Series of Unfortunate Events by psuedonym Lemony Snicket. All good books. Or you can go to my blog and search for the story of Fartarina, my kids love it and I am sure others would too but I just don't publish it cause it's for fun. And most parents would have a fit because it talks about flatulence.

There is one good way, try and get your self on a Morning Talk back show.
Alot of mothers and children getting ready to go to school would be watching, especially at breakfast time.
Write or Phone all the Radio and TV Stations explaining what you have and give full explanation of your project.

You may be surprised. Good Luck

First it has to be a decent book. Then you have to get some publicity. You have to be lucky to break into the market - tons of books out there all vying for the consumer's buck.
