Millionaires often do give money away for the asking - many put money into trusts and foundations that distribute the money to qualified charitable organizations.

John D. Rockefeller, who lived from 1839 until 1937, as an old man, gave a dime to every child he met. (A dime in 1937 was worth roughly $1.30 in today's money.)
Ask yourself, "Why would a millionaire give me $100K?"

Many millionaires are greedy. Sure, they'll throw a donation to a charity every so often, but not before it is carefully worked into their budget.
