I like Tool, and their music and the notes of the lyrics.... But are the actual lyrics criticizing Christianity. Like Eulogy, for example. I try to listen to the lyrics and look them up on the internet, but I don't always exactly understand them all. And If I don't really agree with the lyrics, should I not like the band?

No, try Pagan. toolband.com or incornucopia.com are great places to find out more on the band. There concerts are the best too, Maynerd always tell you to make the most of the energy at the concerts, the also always have a pentagram on the stage once it was the entire set of lights above them. They put on a powerful show, by far the best I've seen and I've seen many. Now I am a Christian and some of there lyrics are against Christ but his lyrics can reinforce or counter your own beliefs, that choice is yours, their music is still great.

Well I don't know if these guys are the most religious band on the planet..but Tool is one of those very rare bands whose lyrics have deep meanings which take a lot of time to decipher. One of the reasons people listen to them. As for whether or not you agree with the lyrics, thats up to yourself, no one else. If you don't agree with em, or just dont care and kick back and enjoy the music itself lke i do; thats up to you.
