Install a good reliable anti-virus software. Run defrag and disk cleanup every now and then. And lay off them prohibited sites. Also have good airflow in and out of your computer.

-Don't install anything in it unless you sure want it installed.

-Don't shift big files very often better keep them in one place and make shortcuts.

-Don't allow too many tray programs to run in the background.

-Defragment and scan your hard drives very often.

-Put your operating system on one drive alone and make an image of it. In case of any problem restore the image again. DON'T FORGET TO PUT ALL YOUR IMPORTANT DATA IN ANOTHER DRIVE.

as soon as u download all 3 of these run update. itll update the spyware and virus dictionary. then scan ur computer with spybot and adaware, wut spybot doesnt find ad aware will.
