Hi I am desperate to find the perfect Christmas gift for my teacher. I give her other gifts like cards and stuff just randomly throughout the year so I want her gift to be really special. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had and we are really close, so it is especially important that I find the perfect gift for her. I have a like one idea, I was thinking about giving her something from Coach, the item I was looking at is only like $48.00 and i think she would like it. She is really girly and I don't want to get the usual "teachers" gift I want it to be special and girly and cute so that she will love it. Thank you for the help, this is so, so important to me.!

I give her thank you cards all the time telling her why I appreciate her and thank you for all that she is done. And for those of you who think I don't have a life i have one, I want to do something nice for my teacher and my friend.

If she is a really good teacher, the best gift you could give her is saying "thank you!" I am a teacher and that is the best gift my students could give me!

Another really cool place to look for special gifts is Red Envelope - really cool stuff that would be very special. Special scarves, jewelry, organizers, bags, high class bath and body items you can't find anywhere else. You could even have the gift mailed to her in a fancy red box.

OK man, first you want something she can not just say, oh thats nice, and it gets lost in the bottom of her desk... so you give her alot of stuff, so this has to be something really nice... something girly but nothing that says, " I want to date you." You should give her a nice stuffed something, like a teddy bear, or something girly like this... something that would be easy to display on a desk or, shelf at home, something she will have a place for right away, or make a place for right away. You can not loose with a stuffed animal. something medium sized... nothing like you'd find in a girls bedroom. but something you could fit nicely on a desk.... Or a Mug that says #1 teacher or something to that effect. You have to make the gift functional.... and something that will not be easily misplaced or over looked... keep that in mind...

Try this - Go to a garden center and get her a really nice tree or shrub - something flowering would be really nice - that way as it grows and blooms year after year, she will think of you. You could even relate the way the plant grows and matures is similar to the way you grow and mature and without her, it would not be possible. Good Luck!

Check out www.gifts.com. It's a really great site! Basically you can select the type of personality the person you want to get a gift for and based on what you tell it, the site spits out a whole bunch of options! I used it to figure out what to get my wife and she LOVED what I got her.

How old are you? Although you want to do something really special, I don't recommend "breaking the bank". If you want to do something REALLY special, get a blank card and tell her why she is your favorite teacher and how she has made a difference in your life.

There are some things that money just can't buy.

hey get off the babysitter, ( woops ) teacher, but its the same thing if you ask me. a token gift is one thing, but i doubt its appropriate for you to be thinking so much about your " very girly teacher " ,someones bound to do time, or at best lose her job....
