I need a good excuse to help me get out of work on saturday night...I am supposed to go to this concert and I already have the ticket paid 80.00 for it and I asked if I could leave early at work to attend. They said that was not possible..So I need to come up with a good excuse so that I can still go..I cannot back out of it..so any excuses are helpful lol

Honesty will always be the best policy. See if you cant get someone to take your place if not, then i think u may be out 80.00 or if u get caught up in a lie u might be out a job.

This what you do. Begin faking sick starting tommorow at work. Whoever it is you told you want out of work offer them the ticket @ $100 above its value and say "i wont be able to go either way". They will either buy the ticket or know some1 interested in which you make 100bucks profit or they will decline. Either way you get to call out of work on saturday. Hopefully the person doesnt call your bluff....

Get a clue, man. This is insane and big waste of time and money, as well as being totally irresponsible. If I could, I would call your boss and tell him what you're up to.
Why don't you be honest for once and simply quit your job?

HHMM...Isn't your integrity worth so much more than $80? Sell the ticket. Better yet, really grow and give the ticket to someone who would love to go but can't afford it. You'll be all the "richer" for it.

You should of never asked for the time off in the first place you should of just waited till that day then call in sick. If you call in sick now they will know you really aint sick cuz you already told on your self. Sorry but good luck
