They can determine the sex of the baby at between 14-16w. They usually wait until 20weeks to tell you because the baby is bigger by then, and they can see it more clearly. They might tell you this thursday, but they probably wont give you the 99% positive yet. They will probably give you an assumption if you ask. If your anything like I was, I know your dying to find out, so don't worry. You will within a month!! Good luck.

I Just had an ultrasound and was 16 weeks. I asked the ultrasound tech what was the earliest she could determine with some certainty the sex of a baby. She said at the 5th month. Still she is quite certain we are having another boy as it was pretty much just sticking out there. Good luck.

Yeah I found out the sex of both of mu kids at 16 weeks. the first one was easy and the second baby was a little stubborn, I had to get up and move around in the ultra sound room because he had his little legs crossed. But he eventually uncrossed then so we could see.

When I was 16 weeks pregnant with my son I went for a routine check up and out of no where the doctor said "You wanna know the sex of your baby" .So you can DEFINITELY count on knowing the sex of your baby on Thursday

I found out I was having a girl @ 17 weeks. I think it depends on how experienced your ultrasound tech is. Boys are easier to spot, cause once you see the "turtle" on there, you know its a boy. By the way, she was right and I did have a girl!
