You don't need a color chart once you are familliar with the color wheel or chart...:)
Do you know about Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary colors? They are the basic steps in mixing colors and the learning of using colors as well...
Its simple!
Primary colors: Red, Blue,Yellow
Secondary colors:
Red+Blue = Violet
Blue+Yellow = Green
Red+Yellow = Orange
And about the Tertiary well, i kinda forgot....but one thing is that Tertiary colors is mixing 3 colors to create a new color....try combining the colors in the Secondary category....
This is from my elementary lessons, and my hobby is doing some visual arts, mostly drawings...so, i tell you that mixing colors is not as hard as you may seem....so, don't worry!
Mixing colors is fun..!!!!!

You've got some great answers regarding the links for color charts. I do have one suggestion that does not appear so far.
Remember to mix true color, tints, tones and shades you must first begin with true priamy colors.
Red for example is not your fire engine or rose red in it's pure form. You need alizarin crimson or magenta.
Cobalt Blue is pure and so is Cadmium Yellow.
If you have questions about those any good art supply store
will have them and hopefully trained staff to help you out.
Try mixing with pure color and see what a difference it makes.
Good luck and happy painting.

Because your monitor settings can alter colors, it would be better to acquire a color wheel which are inexpensive.
