he died in the first movie, how did he come back?

His monkey is still alive, and he took another coin so Barbossa lived, and technically we didn't see Barbossa die. Just in a fight and Stabbed by Jack, he could of survived it. Anyway everything will be explained in the next Pirates of the Caribbean, while their saving Jack and getting the Black Pearl back at the ends of the world.

I have the answer. Watch the first Pirates movie again. After the end credits it has a small Scene where the monkey picks up a coin of Aztec gold. Keep in mind that the monkey always returns to Barbosa's side. The monkey turns to the camera as a skeleton(the monkey is under the curse). What must have happened next? When the monkey stole the gold, returned to his Capn's side, Capt. Barbosa took the gold coin from the monkey(he's a Pirate, go figure) and this re-instated the curse-sparring Barbosa's life. The third movie will prob. go more in depth but that's my take.

If you watch all the way through the credits of the first one, the monkey goes back and takes back one of the gold coins, allowing Captain Barbosa to come back to life.

the lady with the black teeth brought him back to life to save captian jack sparo but i think he only wants to get the black perl back.
