Uhmm...LOLLOL! I had the same problem with my daughter. Its actually just a stage they go through for some reason...He'll grow out of it. What I found helped is I temporarily stopped immersing her in the bath for a while. I would bathe her old school style-with a basin of soapy warm water at her side while I layed her down and washed her down thoroughly, then with a clean, non soapy washcloth-rinsed her off and lotioned her up as I would usually do.

After a few days or weeks of this, he'll miss those baths. Good Luck!

something must have happened that has caused him to relate the bathing experience to being in danger, like did you accidentally have the water too hot or cold once or did he slide down into it... possibly it is just getting out and being unpleasantly coId for even a moment while you get the towel for him. I recommend using a very small infant bathing tub, put him in very little warm water. Support him with one hand in a completely upright position with sort of a "cupped hand" holding his bottom. With the other hand wash the body with a small infant cloth and recline him as he tolerates it. Wash the hair last, then add rinsing water to the tub or basin slowly at a just right warm temperature. I think warmer water reminds them of the conditions of the womb so very warm, (NOT HOT!) water is best. Have a towel up on your breast or nearby. Pick him immediately up and put him into your chest and wrap him tightly and securely in the towel and hold him a moment before actually lying him down to towel him off. Then moisturize his skin and powder and cloth him. Are your bathroom lights very bright, soft lighting is more relaxing for the baby. Does the bay hear loud nosies from other rooms that might be echon while he is immersed in the water. Lastly you might try a Johnson & Johnson's soothing lavendar bath or a little baby oil in the basin. hum and talk to him to reassure him he is safe. Ypur touch should be comforting to him, be gentle with him. Don't get frustrated bcse babies since that. He's going to take a coupl of times of having a pleasant bathing experience before he is okay with it so be patient, he may still cry a few times even whn you try different things to make the experience more comfortable for him. Good luck!

Have you recently changed anything? Like moved him to a bigger bathtub?

If your baby has some head control you may find it easiest to get in the big tub and take him with you. You can use a bath-seat for him in case you need to put him down for a minute. Start with only a little water and work up to more as you are both more comfortable. (More with each bath, I wouldn't run the water with him in there, it will scare him)

Or try putting the baby bath on the dinning-room table some babies find bathrooms scary. Or bath him in the kitchen sink. Or put up shower stall stickers.

If your baby bath is slippery putting a towel under the baby may help him feel more secure... however it leaves you with a wet baby. That sticky mesh kitchen shelf liner can also work. Not like adhesive sticky, like rubbery sticky.

You could also try feeding him in the bath. WARNING! If you are breastfeeding and decide to feed while you are sharing the large tub your baby may poop. Happened to me, that was kinda icky.

My 3 month Daughter suffers from both warmth rash and eczema and it doesn't look like both of those to me. Is it a even as of reaction to at least some thing new? have you ever washed their outfits in some thing new perhaps? Or are they on any meds? If the toddler is otherwise properly and is feeding then i'm confident this is not some thing to rigidity about yet when i replaced into you, i ought to call my clinical specialist and only get it appeared at to be on the secure section. wish toddler feels more advantageous suited quickly!

Make sure the water temperature is not too hot or cold. The best way to test it is actually with your elbow. This happened with my daughter. The way I saw it is that she needs a bath weather she wants one or not. I just sang songs to her and tried to divert her attention from what ever it was that was bothering her while I bathed her. She eventually got back to the point where she liked baths again.
Good Luck!

You can't really do much...besides making sure the water is neither too cold nor too hot. Some babies just hate being bathed, and fear it. I don't really know any tricks, so all I can say is just suck it up and get him washed as quickly as possible. He will grow out of the screaming and crying I'm sure.

He is getting cold....make sure the house is HOT for bath time, and make sure the water is the right temp.

Your baby will calm down. It is so uncomfortable for babies to be even a teeny bit cold during a bath.

Then there has to be something different about the surrounds. Maybe the water is either too hot or too cold thats why the baby is crying about it.
