Since you're posting this on politics I will assume that you maybe referring to the Evangelical Right leaders after they're caught with little boys or escorts or with chemical substances not cleared by ATF for civilian use!

Its because you get scared to talk in front of a crowd. Try practicing speech alone. Then you'll get used to it

people who speak publicly tend to talk faster than they realize, you have to purposly talk slower, this may help you to actually talk simply a normal speed
