Delete your history and temporary internet files, and then you have to close your browser and when you re-open they should be gone.

There is no way to delete one URL from the address bar. If you would rather just start over on your websites you type in, just go to Tools, Internet Options, and then Clear History. That deletes all the web sites you have viewed and typed in address bar.

Put your pointer over the icon/address, right click, then choose delete.

If you are using IE go to tools, internet option and clean browsing history button.
If you are using firefox go to tools go to history tab, click the erase browsing history now!

left click on it and push the delete button on the keyboard.
