I had gassy babies also. I know how you feel! It makes you feel so bad for them. Are you bottle feeding or breast. I bottle fed and what I found to work it when you make a bottle, instead of putting the formula in the bottle and shaking it (which creates a lot of bubbles) put it in a measuring cup and stir it. I used a little wire wisk to stir the formula. That way it didn't bubble up. Then I would pour the milk into the bottle and let it set for just a few minutes. And, Dr. Brown bottles are great too! Good luck for you and your baby!

My daughter was like that and we tried everything we could think of. We found out that it was the formula. Somethings that you couild try are to put the baby in the infant car seat and sit it on the dryer. The drops help some. Put the baby on a towel stomach down across your legs and bounce them a little. I thought these things were crazy until some of the older people in my family told me about it. The problem is that something the child is eating or drinking is not agreeing with him/her. I had two gassy babies, and I totally sympathize. I am sorry to hear about it. Hey, when it got really bad, besides the drops, I would on occasion use tylenol, so the baby could sleep, and so could mom. Hope maybe this helps in a pinch. Take care, and know this too will pass.

If you are feeding with a bottle try the vent air or Playtex with the Drop in. That will help get the bubbles out of the bottle. If nothing else helps always talk to the dr. Good Luck

What helped with our son - and still does sometimes is to push on his feet- so his knees push on his tummy... this really helped get the toots out, and made our son feel more comfortable. But yes, also use those Mylicon drops as well... both of those together helped. Our son was super gassy, and still can be at times- but it's bad because his tummy just hurts him very badly.

Goodluck!

Since he is 3 months old, the chances are he is being breast fed. so your diet could be the culprit. you watch out for the reason.
You could just add, some cumin, ginger to your diet which actually control the gas in the diet.

if your breastfeeding,
maybe it's something your eating. what you eat can affect the baby. try to stay away from onion, garlic, asparagus, caffiene, things of this nature. also talk to your baby's pediatrician for more advice. i rub my little girls tummy when she's gassy(she is 4 months old). hope he gets better!

massage works wonders. Massage the tummy area softly..take legs and gently push up and move around in a circle. You can look up Infant massage on the net and get pictures to help guide you.
