Do men prefer pale or tan skin.. or does it really matter?

I'm not a guy but I know from asking guys I know that some prefer pale skin and some prefer tanned skin. It's just like some people prefer blondes.. etc.

Pale skin doesn't look sickly if it's the right shade of pale... I'm quite pale but it's more 'alabaster' and looks good... not ghostly.

If you're ghostly pale try to warm up your look with a bit of light bronzer or that build-a-tan lotion... warm colors etc. Fake tans rarely look good, not to mention no guy will like you when you look about 15 yrs older than you are with leathery pre-cancerous skin.

Men probably prefer tanned skin over natural. But being overly tanned is definitely not healthy and can and does lead to skin cancer, permature aging etc. So, if you plan on tanning to catch a man you better do it when you are young because if you wait to long you will look like a leathery wrinkles prune and then they won't look at you at all!!!

Guys like Miami girls and thats with tan skin. But if a guy really liked you he would ignore the pale skin and really find wats in your heart.

It really depends on the guy. Think of it this way: Look at all the different sex symbols there are out there, they come in all shades. Some guys are into Halle Berry or Jessica Alba, others prefer Kate Beckinsale or or Natalie Portman.

Find a guy who likes your skin, and don't change yourself for anyone.

it really depends on if you know how to keep up your skin. Any skin can be beautiful...you've just got to know how to take care of it. I go to the fashion magazines, my favs are cosmogirl and seventeen because they give makeup advice for different skintones, but tan skin is easier to deal with because more marks and blimishes (acne too!!) are hidden, but under the tan skin you develope get wrinkles, moles, and even cancer. I use self tanner not only because sun tanning (includes tanning beds) can be harmful, but with self tanner, you can make yourself as tan as you want without the burn!

if someone has a NARUAL olive skin tone i think it is nice, however when white girls go to tanning beds or get sprayed orange it makes them look cheap and fake.

I THINK AS LONG AS THE GIRL IS WONDERFUL IN MIND AND BODY BEAUTY HAS NO COLOUR! fake tan looks crap milky white paleness is lovely.

try model co tanning spray stuff its awesum.No streaks and no yellow/orange ness.
