I have 4 children and it was at different stages every time, i could never find a way to describe the feeling to people so they knew what i was talking about but a little while ago i read a discription of it and i thought "yes thats exactly what it feels like"....those first flutters feel like someone has popped a thin straw into your tummy and is blowing little bubbles...i think thats a perfect description.

I felt my first baby at 13 weeks, second baby at 11 weeks. I think it depends on how in tune with your body you are and whether you can recognize a feeling that's different from gas. As time goes on you will know based on if you keep feeling the same thing and it becomes clear that it's the baby or not.

At 14 weeks it's probably still a little early to be feeling much of anything. I really felt the baby starting at 6 months.

Oh my! I was in major denial with my second pregnancy-I figured out I was pregnant when I felt her move (a strong rolling butterfly feeling for me) I gave it up and took the test- one week later I was at the OB'S and they did an ultrasound to give an estimate for us. Guess what? 3 days shy of 12 weeks. So there is a good chance of it being the little one making their prescence known! Good Luck!

I am having the same problem. I am 16 weeks and I am desperate to feel it move. If you are tiny you may have felt it. If you are a first time mommy, they say you will probably feel it between 18-20 weeks. IF you did feel it Congrats!

Your goin to feel all sorts of different things until you give birth. Some are simple others really suck. U know when there movin just wait till there like 6 months YOu see and feel them move across your stomach

i felt it around 14 weeks with #1. i swear i feel it now with #2 but am only 11 weeks so am not sure. but it feels the same.

You very well could have felt it move by now. But be careful, many moms-to-be confuse baby movement with gas, just because they are SO excited (i dont blame you!)

Possibly baby...I felt my son around that time, but pushed it aside as gas. Now, with my second one, I know better. I never understood the "butterflies" thing myself. Congratulations!

You most definitely can feel at 14 weeks!!! (I did).It feels like butterflies in your stomach!!
