how does yahoo.com calculate rankings in literati?

it seems some players have much higher ratings than others with better overall averages. please explain. thanx

game point work like this; all players same rate winner gets about 15 points per win..if winner has a lot higher rate then loser they get less points per win say 10 points.if a lower rate wins over a high rate player they get maybe 20 points. it's not so much how many games you win but rating of people you beat.
