the woman my hubby cheated with came to our house a week ago leaving notes and his belongings. I haven't seen her since and i have a feeling he has been in contact w/ her. how do i know? what are the signs?

If you can't ask your husband and know that he will be honest with you, you have a real problem in your marriage. However, I suspect there is a problem whether he's seen her again or not. You know he WILL cheat because he did. And the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Do not tolerate a cheating mate!

Maybe it was her sign she had enough and she was ending it... so basically it is a possibility it is over with that woman. Maybe she is pissed because he is cheating on both you and her. Which is not good. Even if you take the advice one of the answerers gave you, why should you believe him. Perhaps you know your anwer to your question. He is cheating? You can ask him, go ahead but I seriously doubt he will tell the truth. I also would not advise you to call the other woman who visited your house. She aint $hit since she disrespected you by visting your home. Or perhaps she found out he is married and she is pissed. So many things are going through your head right now I am sure. It is also too soon for you to feel the need to find out so much, to what, hurt you more? Or do you really need to know all the answers. The bottom is this, he hurt you, he betrayed you, period, and you need to sit down and talk about his wrong doing.
Seek couseling perhaps, my grandmother once told me, when a woman go looking for something, she is asking to get hurt, if he is doing no good, it will come to you! Don't looking for it.

Watch his behavior, if he seems sneaky or off in anyway that can be a sign. Surprise him at work for lunch or pop in when you know he is suppose to be there, and see if he is. When he leaves ask him where he is going and when he will be back, if you have to go where he said he was going to be and drive by and see if he is really there. i know that sound psycho, but you deserve to know and he broke your trust so even if he says that he stopped it is hard for you to believe. If he gets up set with you for watching him closer just explain to him that you are very insecure. Don't say it in a blaming way because if you are still with him that means that you forgave him, so don't rub his nose in it, just be kind to him, but keep an eye out for anything suspicious. I hope he has stopped no wife deserves that!

When someone cheats on you, you expect the same from them you you are constantly caught in a circle of mistrust and no matter what he says you will always have this suspicion.
He needs to reassure you a lot. Let him know he needs to do this and I mean a lot, he has damaged your trust and the repair is difficult and he cannot expect not to work for it.
The way to know for sure whether he is cheating is to monitor his email, phonecalls, commings, goings, pockets, car seat for hairs, but, do you really want to be this person.

It is quite likely it will take a while for all to bet settled.
You will be thinking he is with her if he is very lat getting ho9me form some place.
No matter what the outcome is there already has been a problem so you have to accept that he will and has had other girl friends of get rid of him. There is no middle road on this one.

Ask him then call her & ask her. If they have different answers u have a problem. If the answers r different follow ur gut & try to moniter what he does like check his cell phone & look at his mail the return address. If still not sure confront him but make sure his answers equal up like 2 +2=4 !! Good luck!!

I believe he would be cheating. Why bring his things around after so long unless he recently cheated.
