Yes, I am being sarcastic. I am just old enough to remember Mtv and Vh1 in the early to mid 80s when it was video after video with only minor interruptions by Kurt Loder, Downtown Julie Brown, or whoever did the Headbangers Ball thing. And they used to have some band interviews which were cool, but didn't overtake the video portion. Anyway, do you miss the good ol' days of back to back music videos?

Yes, I miss the good old days when MTV had actual MUSIC and when VH-1 played VIDEOS! They're just another TV channel now, and you have to look at MTV 2 or VH-1 Classic to see an actual music video!

Yes,.. they seem to be trying to play Videos again (they had a while there when they didn't even have any Music Videos in a week at all).

Someone was asking about how they could become Popular and I remembered this one Music Video from right about when everything was crashing down or about to anyways.

Added: To everyone recommending The Tube,.. not everyone has it or receives it. I have Digital Cable and I do not receive it,.. if my cable did they would make it a pay channel for like 5-25 dollars a month >.< Because they SUCK like that.

Added2: Oh well,.. I guess I have to live with YouTube

They were putting all kinds of shows on MTV from the mid 1980s on. The Young Ones were on MTV first in the US, Beatles cartoon, news shows, game shows.

And they still show videos early in the morning.

I don't think a lot of the new music these days anyway!

MTV played only videos in the early 80s and some was good. I have not watched MTV for probably 20 years because it got really bad. I guess it was too expensive to make good videos.

If I remember right, wasn't it Dee Williams from Twisted Sister who did Headbangers Ball for awhile? But, yes, they need a video music channel.

I don't remember those days. Those channels aren't good anymore for the most part. There's a new channel on Comcast called The Tube. 100% music videos. It's awesome because its pretty much just rock. Channel 197.

The Tube channel is videos, and nothing but videos from all decades from the 80's to the present.

Absolutely! I had my hopes up for awhile with VH-1 Classics but, even this channel stopped playing 24-hour videos! Someone should start a poll to get them to go back to doing this again!
