Hmm maybe because they went mainstream or...they just follow trends now.... but I still like them. I love their old stuff, their new stuff is okay but they kind of sound all the same...but I <3 AFI. =] And Davey is awesome! ..so is Jade, and Hunter, and Adam. =P

I don't know why people don't love AFI.
how can one not love AFI? they are the best band ever!!! and Davey, Jade, Adam, and Hunter are like the coolest and nicest people ever!

I dont know why people dont like them. I like their all their music, but I am more partial to the old stuff. BUT decemberunderground is still an amazing album. and sing the sorrow is their best album in my opinion, I think what it is, is that people are pissy because they got some LONG OVERDUE recognition. thats what I think. they aren't happy that they are on MTV and on radio and playing sold out shows and 16 year old like them. I dont think they forgot where they came from. but a fan is a fan, whether they are 12 and listening to miss murder on the couch or playing sacrifice theory and in their mid-20s. peace.

They make good music but the lead singer looks like a girl. I hope they don't consider themselfs rock if they do thats pretty sad.
