since you dont have email open.. to answer your question about 1983. yes I know what happened then; I have researched every one of those accusations. There are so many more but those re the ones Im sure of. Reagan had put a no fire act on them. The Isrealis were the ones attacking beirut and we didnt want to seem like we were siding with them. The muslim was from Hezbollah who was backed by Iran. Carter brought the ayahtolas in to take over for the ousted Sha so we didnt want to go back on that. It may have had something to do with how reagan got the embassy workers out but Im not sure about that. what is your reason?

Whoever is the next President will be severely hobbled by the legacy of Bush/Cheney. It is a 10+++++++ . With a mountain of debt, an unsolvable war, trashed reputation around the world, a disillusioned public at home, Liberals and Evangelicals yelling for blood, and jails full of uncharged foreign nationals, the next President may not be able to be a success. The good side is the only way to go from here is up.

Just as HUGE as the President before him and just as HUGE a mess the President after him will leave....every President somehow leaves a "HUGE" mess after they leave office. Some messes we know about...others we will never know.

A LOT less then the previous President left us!
The last one was too busy screwing interns to deal with such stupid things like terrorist.
Oh, and doing childish things like removing the W's on all the keyboards in the whitehouse?
