Use pipe cleaners.

Make it look like that, try to use the same colors. And write about it, just go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA for info.

First you need 2 pieces of foam flat sheets(, 2 Nerd Rope pieces of candy, tooth picks and maybe some sour straws.
The nerd rope candy should be inserted in to the foam sheets at the bottom and the top. This will also be the area where you hold the figure. If sturdy enough you are able to twist the bottom and the top giving it its shape. Connect the sour straws to the pieces of Nerd rope and your project is finished.
You will have to sit the project on it side. It is suppose to be a hand on gene, giving you the ability to twist the project into different shapes.

My son and I made a model out of pipe cleaners and plastic beads. Got them at the local craft store. We bought a bag of mixed colored beads and black pipe cleaners in order to use the right colors on our model. Hooked the pipe cleaners together and twisted them to look like the pic in the Science book. Neat!

When i did this project in school i used marshmallows and jelly beans. you take supple wire and start to thread the jelly beans onto the wire- surf the net for a picture of DNA strands- they are made up of different colours- so use your sweets as a colour chart accordingly - marshallows work, jelly babys and plastic buttons

You could try using pasta noodles of different colors or cereal. I am not sure, but look in your pantry for ideas or foods of different colors to note the different parts of the DNA.

I'm sure you can come up with a better question
than, Will somebody do my homework for me??

Just turn in anything..tell her it's damaged DNA.

make it out of something simple like styrofoam. Food would be too hard because it might break or rot.
And if you need to know what it looks like check out the link!
