Building 10 homes in every state for underprivileged families that have shown a strong work ethic. And giving them the homes with the contractual condition that: if they move, they must give, absolutely free, the home to an underprivileged family showing a strong work ethic. And make this family sign a contract agreeing to do the same if they choose to move. This way the family is encouraged to save and advance without too much hardship and be able to help another family advance to do the same for another.

I would become the President of the United States in order to restructure the entire system to be completely logical so only simple-minded thought processes are needed to discover the answers to questions that were simple all along...such as "should religious material be allowed on government land" - the simple answer is NO. It's not about it being there, is about WHY it's there...it's there ONLY to show that the government is truly biased...and if you think that I'm radical in saying this, you try to get a pagan pentagram on governmental property and see how long it takes them to put you on the FBI's Watch List. I would completely restructure the American Education System to teach people to think for themselves, to question and be analytical, and teach them things that they will actually need to know in life (that is, to be a "good and participatory citizen") such as sociology, psychology, philosophy, economics, geography, and just enough mathematics to become personal gurus in what they need (of course, this wouldn't be the extent of the education system...there would, of course, be a, basically, unlimited number of courses able to be taken according to student interest and not limited by "credit requirements" etc...forcing someone to eat crap will make them barf it back up in the end...so what was the point of forcing it to begin with, right?). Like I said...I would be logical...logical enough to please ALL who can think logically, and so much so that anyone who questioned the logic of any of the new legislation would have to then be labled illogical himself. I feel I am destined for good things, but, unfortunately, I feel don't have the means to go about becoming president (meaning MONEY, which is something the hogs are keeping to themselves by giving eachother tax cuts and pay raises every chance they get to stick their tacky little fingers near that ballot box, the greedy bas*tards).

If I can't fail, then the achievement is meaningless.
Therefore, I would go for something that I wasn't trying to achieve that would be nice anyway. I would go for willing the lottery. Then I could use the money I won to pursue what I am truly achieving in life.

I would open a restaurant. All my friends say I should go for it but almost all restaurants fail in the first couple of years.

I'd want to try and fail anyways just to see if I could pull it off in a world where failer didn't happen. If I didn't fail, I wouldn't have failed, which would have been a success, and then your head would have exploded.

This is the old "two sides of the coin" gambit. The lessons of failure teach how to succeed. Without failure, there can be no full appreciation of success.
And without the possibility of failure, a success is only a hollow state-of-being, not an achievement.
