4 weeks ago, i met this girl. i have never known anyone who i feel so completely connected to, who i feel that i belong with. i told her how i feel about her and she said she had thought before that she was falling for me but that she is able to intelluctize her feelings to the point they no longer exist. i.e- she told herself that she did not know me well enough to have these strong feelings for me. she has a girlfriend. i want to stay in her life bc we are becoming friends but i really feel like we are meant to be. i can't explain it- it is like our consciousnesses feed into each other. is it wrong for me to feel that we were meant to be together? i am not going to try to change her mind about her gf but i wish she'd just give her feelings a chance to grow. it hurts to see her with him. she still says stuff to me like "i hope that we can enjoy something natural, whatever that may be." and "i won't regret anything, whether we wind up acquantiances, friends or whatever."

it is not wrong to feel that way. however, you just need to understatnd that there's another party in this, and all of you can get hurt if both of you continue with this. just take all of the things that she's saying in a grain of salt. don't make a big fuss about them.

Your strong feelings are a connect that you two have had many times before, in many lifetimes before, as well a strong bond at Home. You are in the process of learning the differences of physical feelings vs. personal emotions and balancing them toward greater understanding of how to add to a positive surround. Not an easy lesson, yet one that, if you take the challenge seriously & heartfully, will become a wonderful tool to your beingness...your friend seems to have accomplished this already...ask her how she did it & what experiences she draws from...her honest answers may ring those inner chimes as she has helped you with this before & your perspective of your relationship may be brought into truer light for you. Nothing to really lose, and a great deal to gain, yes? Good Journey!

G'luck. I had someone tell me she was interested in just being friends after I told her I crushed on her.
Eventually she quit keeping touch, and I completely understand why she chose that option.
Just go with what your heart tells you, but you gotta let your brain step up to the plate once in a while too. :D Trust me...

No, its not. I met my, now wife, this way. I was married and she was with someone. We had the same feelings for each other, we followed our feelings and we have been together, starting our 10th year in a couple of weeks. Pursue your feelings, but dont push. Give her a chance to get to know you, and see where it goes from there.

It is never wrong to feel love for a person, no matter what tthat person may feel for you. If all you can feel together is friendship, it's a lot better than nothing.

There's nothing wrong feeling that way...it's just but natural. It will only become wrong if this feeling become an obsession and led you to hurt others in the process. Cheer up! It's just one spice that adds color to your life.

It wouldn't say it's wrong, but it may be pointless.
Waiting for something that may never happen is a waste of your time when you could be making things happen.

She is a lesbian and has a girlfriend? YOU have no place in her life style for one thing. You may befriend her, but a relationship on any other level can not happen.
The unattainable is often attractive to us. But the "reality" is often more painful than we thought..............
