Why has my mother been trying to castrate me since birth?

Why has she attacked every remotely male thing I have done? Was she trying to protect me or is she just a mean person?

Don't know your mother, but if you really feel she has done that to you, you're in trouble, whether or not it's true.
Are you overly sensitive? Are you feeling different from everyone, an outsider?
Have you every talked to a psychologist? A psychiatrist?
If not, I would recommend it.
