If know this girl since 2002, and ever since she's been my other sister. I'm gay, so I dont date her, but everytime I talk to her I just smile, knowing shes mine. She was the first one that I told I was gay, and helped me with all of my problems ever since. Even stopping me from killing myself. Now I talk to her about everything and call her "my life". So if something bad happens to her, something bad happens to me...

This December will be her 15 birthday, and in January, our 5th year "knowing each other" aniversary. I want to do something for her that will make her cry with joy. But, I dont have money!!! (Well, some...maybe 100 or so..) What should I do?

P.S!!!! I HAD A GREAT IDEA BUT DID NOT WORK OUT!!!
if you are having the same/ similar problem with JUST a friend, do this. But a ring under 100 and take her/him somewhere. On that day, recite a poem/speach and then "propose" to be together forever. ;)

i've surprised my best friend so many times already. it's always nice to make the people you love happy. the price of the gifts given to each other are priceless, especially if you personalize the gift.

me and best friend likes the same type of music, and i know all her favorites. i took her to reno on our last "knowing each other" anniversary and i told her we're just gonna be gambling and such. i bought concert tickets to our favorite singer and i tell you, it was so hard to keep the secret from her especially when the poster of the concert was everywhere in reno. i was so into not messing up the surprise that i asked her to just trust me, and let me lead her to where we were going. it's so crazy coz she had to close her eyes or look down on the carpet. i was so stressed out but as soon as she realized whose concert we were in, the look on her face is the most priceless thing i've ever experienced.

surprises takes careful planning. 1 idea would be if you take a picture of yourself and a picture of her, it could be a picture with the two of you together or not. either way, take it to a street artist if you have one over there, and have him/her make a portrait out of it. that was the very first gift i've given my bestfriend, and she still has it. up to now. we've been bestfriends for 13 years. if you need any further help feel free to email me erise1013@yahoo.com

congratulations on your upcoming anniversarry, i hope you guys make it to more anniversarries.

Put together a scrap book of things that reminds you of all the times you've spent together over the last five years. Photos, old notes, silly inside jokes you have with each other, etc.

i think of having the mall scavenger hunt element would be much less confusing to pull off - i did a scavenger thign for my thirteenth and it became right into a image scavenger hunt , the place we had a extensive record of issues we had to take p.c.. with ( like a guy with loopy hair, a hollister manniquen (spelling) ect) it became into super relaxing and all people saved the photos as keepsakes. purely be confident to ask a lott of people so which you will chop up into communities to make it a compitition ! wish this helped!!

Dude .. a 5th year 'knowing each other' anniversary. hehehe you really are gay.
What's up with your possessiveness. 'knowing she's mine' that's weird. If she is someone you love no possessing ok?

on to your question. Let her know how thankful you are to have her as a friend. Also you may want to ask yourself if perhaps you are Bi and may be romantically attracted to her. If so you could kiss her.
