Well, Kangaroo can be cooked just like most other meats. It tends to be a little tougher than many more common BBQ meats so you should probably marinate it. A good red wine marinade would go well with Kangaroo.
Now, Koalas are a different story. Before you prepare it you should check your guest list and make sure there are no Greenies, Wildlife Warriors, Police, Rangers or anyone else who may be offended by your cooking of an endangered species! Some people just wouldn't understand.

Koala is best served with a side dish of deep fried wombat,, to prepare the koala first make sure its really dead,, those little suckers sleep 23 hours a day so you never can tell,, the best way to kill em is a baseball bat,, this not only tenderises the meat but makes it easier to skin em,, they taste a little like eucalyptus,, but on the whole pretty good,,, as for the roo you need a heavy gauge rifle and a sharp knife,, and lots of guests there is a lot of meat on those fellas,, good luck,, BTW kangaroo goes well with boiled platypus

Make sure their hair is combed, teeth are brushed, and that they have clean underwear on so they can look their best while enjoying the bbque LOL
