It sounds stupid, but jump a lot. Do drills where you stand underneath the goal, jump and slap the backboard over and over again. Try to slap the backboard on every layup.

If you can't get backboard yet, start by doing the jump drill and just see how high you can touch on the net.

I used to be able to get rim, so I know ;)

It makes it so which you will drop your heal down greater in the previous pushing down including your ft to bounce. It provides the calf an better variety of action. while i became into youthful we would have somebody curl up in a ball in front of the ring. With basically some steps working commence you may step on his lower back and launch up and dunk it. very nearly all and sundry can do it in spite of top. be careful nonetheless. Build up your leg muscles and leg strength. Also, try jumping more and more often. You can even cheat a little, and lower the hoop (if you can), and encourage yourself to dunk to the lower hoop.

The best solution would be lower the hoop a little bit! Back in high school we lowered it so everyone seemed to be over 6 feet! :D
