Yes. A funny movie is many times funnier when you watch it with other people who are laughing. Or when you see something funny at an inappropriate time and you are able to stifle the laugh until you see someone else laughing or trying to keep from laughing.

Most of the time, not always.. sometimes I laugh at something that isn't funny and people just stare at me. Though when other people laugh, I tend to start laughing even when I don't know why they're laughing. I was also smiling at random people the other day... it's fun, cuz they usually smile, laugh, or grin back..... hehe.
So... it's contagious most of the time :-)

If you mean smileing/laughing is contagious as in disease-like, then no. I do believe that smil;inning/laughing is influential. If a person laughed for no reason and kept on laughing then other people would start to laugh or smilee. Also a person smiles at you, it is a normal reaction to smil at them back.

Yes. Laughing because of how people look and sound while they are laughing, which at times in itself is funny. Smiling, because first, it's simply polite to reciprocate, secondly because sometimes you can't help but reciprocate a smile.

Absolutely!!! I challenge you to take a walk tomorrow and smile at everyone you make eye contact with.....I am willing to bet that at least 80% will smile back......the other 20% are the assholes of the world. LOL

yes...after all, the brain is a giant computer and processes things instantly, and when someone is laughing, you think of about 1000 things that they could be laughing at, and you yourself start laughing
