On Friday night my friend and I were hanging out watched a movie and had some dinner. This night was more then that though. We went to gis girlfriends house and there was a small party there. They were drinking and doing drugs and were pressuring me to do some. I said no and got very angry and left. I don't talk very much, and this girl who likes me wanted me to talk to her but I didnt want to cause I was frustrated and wanted to find a way to leave. I "snuck' out and I hated these people. They laughed at me when I had an acid reflex attack that night and sorta abandened me. I dont really hate them anymore just very mad. Today they confronted me and I told them I still hate them a bit and very mad. I feel bad that I said that though. Should I feel bad for saying that?

The fact that you don't let people pressure you into doing drugs is kool. Many people will do it to fit in. It sounds like these people aren't really your friends if they don't address the fact that you are not feeling well. I don't think that you should hate them for it you have a reason to feel angry and let them know but pick and choose your words. Hate is a really strong word and you shouldn't jump to using it toward people you consider your friends.

Well answereing in Reverse order "Did I let my feelings out too much and should I "hate"? "
Feelings aren't right or wrong, they just are, What you do with those feelings is a different matter. I think a nanosecond before you were angry . . . you were hurt . . . Anger's alot easier and certainly more "Macho" to express. Hurt is scary to admit, and opens you up to further taunting. Takes alot of guts, to go down that road. Burying your feelings is worse, eventually they'll find a way out. I don't think expressing feelings is ever wrong . . . but you can lose people doing it . . . You can also find who your real friends are . .and when you let feelings out, alot of times you can learn something about yourself, not always something you want to learn, but something none the less. Good Luck with the girl !. . .Backroads (here is where I'd put a thumbs up smiley, if they had one, . . .but you get the idea . . .)

I applaud you for leaving a party that was not what you were comfortable with! You don't need an excuse to not drink and do drugs. You just need to say you don't do drugs and alcohol. Don't waste your time on this kind of people. You're better than that! Don't let them drag you down. But don't waste your time hating people either. It's fine to hate the things they do but don't hate the people. Just find other friends who have better things to do with their lives than get stoned or slopped. If you hang with losers, you'll be seen as a loser.

Hate is a very strong word.
Maybe you feel guilty because maybe you don't hate them at all and you were just speaking out of anger.
You want them to experience your pain so you try to express it in a way that will make them understand.
Holding this sort of anger at the expense of others only hurts you the most.
You are the one who is suffering and for what good is it?
If you can learn to let this anger go maybe you won't need to feel guilty for saying things that maybe don't reflect how you truly feel.

When you get angry and have hurt feelings, it is best to walk away until you cool down. Hate is a very strong word and I don't think you hate them. I think you were just angry by their laughter. I think if they were truly your friends then they wouldn't have found your attack funny. Don't sweat it. Just get over being angry and see how you feel then. Good luck.
