I'm writing an essay on why I think that the population is growing and I want to take it from the Hispanic growth angle--but why is it that the numbers are growing in RECENT years. What is it that is suddenly appealing to Hispanics--don't give me any racist answers either, it's not supposed to be negative.

from my experience there it has always been the migrant harvesting work that's available. then it would make sense that enclaves of people and families would follow.
here's this as well:

Farm life maybe???climate??? less of a chance to get deported. Im not offending the Hispanic race I am hispanic as well living in SO.cal
