One listens to what is said - then begins to verify it's authenticity by first examining the purveyor of the information then trying to determine it's correctness through other means! Both are equally important!

Usually the person saying it. Body language speaks louder than words. Once I tried watching TV with the sound off. It was SO weird how people had certain "tells" about what they are truly thinking.

What they are saying is much more important but sometimes i find myself staring at things on them or checking out how crooked their teeth are, lol, or something like that, that i dont hear what they are saying. Then they'll go "so what do you think?". And i'm like " ohhhh **** , i didnt hear what they said, lmao"

The person saying it first, then what is said based on what might be their motives or emotions behind it.

first what is said , and then of course you consider who said it. for example someone saying "youre fat" would have a totally different meaning if (say) it was coming from a child as opposed to say someone you love. do you agree? great question maybe i misunderstood your ?

there's more to everyone than what meets the eye, but then again, you learn a lot from someone's body language, too, so I look at both.
