So I have to do this dialogue project in a writing class (10th grade). You write up dialogue with a partner and recite it in front of the class, around 3-4 minutes worth of it.
The catch: it has to be in the character of a current or recent public icon, such as a president, celebrity, etc.
My partner and I are stuck for character ideas, but we were thinking of doing a George Bush/Dick Cheney or G. Bush/Clinton sort of a debate thing where the teacher would ask questions and we would answer them.
What would be some public icons that would make good fodder for dialogue? It can be one person or two (because we can actually do that same person but at a different age or timeframe)
